The media aide to the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday 10th-August-2019, confirmed that there had been attempts to hacked the vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo's verified and official Twitter handle.
Akande via his own verified Twitter handle, @akandeoj, said that unauthorised persons had attempted to take control of the vice president prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s official Twitter handle but thankfully the attempts were unsuccessful.

“Yesterday, there were failed external attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Vice President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo's Twitter Account.
Since, we have been in contact with Twitter, securing the account, and forestalling a reoccurrence.
