Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, Okey Bakassi calls Daniel Akpeyi ‘tokunbo’ goalkeeper, he blamed Nigerian goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi for the defeat of Super Eagles in 2019 AFCON Semi-Finals encounter play on Sunday.

The Desert Foxes took the lead in the first half, thanks to a William Troost-Ekong’s own goal.

However reacting to Super Eagles’ loss, Okey Bakassi congratulated every other person on the team for their hard work except for the goalkeeper.
He jokingly launched a campaign for a goalkeeper to be picked from Cotonou in the next edition of the football competition.

“Congratulations to Super Eagles minus the goalkeeper.

“Maybe we would go to Cotonou in search of another goalkeeper in the next tournament.
“A tokunbo goalkeeper would be better than the one we have now,” he said on Instagram.
